GOOD BYE......! MASTER BLASTER.....!

When the name Sanath Jayasuriya come's into mind every one know it is no other than the Sri Lankan cricket Hero....

Many knows him as Master Blaster....! ( From the words of Tony Greg) The black Superman....! He was our hero. The person who was so humble in his normal life and when it time to batting he becomes one of the most feared batsman in the world, in any type of the cricket. I still remember the days he revolutionized one day cricket and showed the path to the Sri Lankan cricket team to win the 1996 World Cup. And then he went to make the fastest 50 and 100 in one day cricket and then he showed us how much of class he has by scoring 340 runs in an innings playing against India in a test match.

If Sanath scores well we are sure that most of the time our team will win the match. He was that much of a influence in to the team. And he was not just a batsman he was wonderful all rounder.

As he say good bye to test cricket, I would like to say that there will be no one like him in the whole world he is unique, his presence in test match will surely be missed by his team mates and by the cricket loving fans all around the world....! We are going to miss you Sanath....! And thanks for all the things you have done to Sri Lankan cricket....!

Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit

I have installed Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit version in my computer few weeks ago. This is my finding for the moment of the Microsoft so called New operating system.

Graphics

Very good graphics features with the new windows Aero function it provide a nice overlook to the whole desktop. Once you put on the 3D window swapping mode it look fantastic. And also in there previews they have mention about a product called DreamScene which will allow users to put video as wallpapers and also animated wallpapers. Well it is sad to say that this part of the software is still under trial mode. They took 5 years to develop the operating system but up to now still have not published the final version of the DreamScene.

BARE IN MIND IF YOU NEED TO GET ALL THE GRAPHICS FEATURES TO WORK YOU NEED TO HAVE A GOOD GRAPHIC CARD. I HAVE A NVIDIA 6600 GT WITH 256MB OF RAM BUT IT STILL GIVE YOU SOME ERRORS.

Security

Well Microsoft is so hyped to say that the new operating system have a good security system. Well in away they have archived a very annoying security feature which keep on prompting every time you try to run a software. For example if you got firfox running in Vista then it will keep on asking for permission to run the software.

You have to always installed a Anti virus software. Because Vista dose not come with one. And if you have installed a 64bit version like me then you will only have few options to choose which software to run. My personal recommendation is Kaspersky Internet Security which use only little bit of your system memory.

User friendliness

Vista has improved fairly in this department. And for a first time user it is quite simple to function around windows vista to do simple task. Most of the programs are categorized into it own folders. And when you need to organized you own collection of photos, music files or any other sort of files it is quite easy using Windows Vista.

Recommended system configuration

Intel Pentium dual core processor
2Gb of memory
40Gb of Hard disk space
DVD rom drive
A very good VGA card ( example: atleast Nvidia 6600 GT or better)
